Regrets part VII

I haven't written Regrets part Vl but I would like to share this one to see the genuine comments on it

I feel regret
For I failed to spread
The essence of God
In the countrymen who sought
The ways to avenge
The cruel bloodshed
And the stolen goods
For which we stood
With pride and faith
That He would save
The nation and its peace
So we weren't prepared to see
All that occurred
Which we didn't incur
For we avoided the wrong
So we stood strong
For the ideals we admired
That are all now in fire
Because the religion we see
As per what we feel
To obtain the relief
From our vengeful agony
While forgetting the peace
That is poured in each piece
Of all the holy books
So there is nobody to look
Towards me
Screaming for all eternity
To abjure the violence
And convey in silence
So the world would absorb
All that we stood for
And place us on a height
Where we'd never see the night
But there is none to hear
It's the same here and there
So do as you like
Stumble then again fight
While I try to forget
This insoluble regret
