Peace Stands Alone
Angela Crabtree 1982 (maine)
Peace Stands Alone
Feet firmly planted in soft sands
Ocean waters running to great them
Smells of clean, crisp, ocean air
rise among the surface
Wind softly blowing through her hair
Sun beams gleaming down upon her soft, mocha skin
Her arms extended on each side, as she lets the cool
air embraces her body
Thoughts so pure and fearless
She lets herself go among all these
Her eyes just a glaze of blue
The sounds of the waves crashing among the rocks
Bird's chirping in the distance
The tide rises, yet she stands still
Unable to move from the serenity
She stands alone in peace to enjoy herself and her surroundings
