Hatched your eggs
So you could squawk,
Nourished your legs
So you could walk;
So walk little birdie, squawk.
Rounded head
With eyes to search,
Smallish feet
For you to perch;
Oh passerine swallow search.
Pointy wings
So you could fly,
Pecked a twig
So you could ply;
So ply little birdie, fly
