Our Family

The happiest moment in my life.
Was when you said, you would be my wife.
Children came to us, one by one.
First a daughter, then a son.
Margaret was first, a joy to hold.
Followed by John, with hair of gold.
Jeannine was next, she was a pleasure.
Then came Jackie, a baby treasure.
Two more children, to us were deeded.
And I can tell you they were needed.
Matthew to be a marquis, or maybe an earl.
Mary Elizabeth, destined to be our last baby girl.
Grandchildren are next, it may be noted.
"the more the merrier" I may be quoted.
