that our love lives on dead

that your heart borders cold

It's never been heard
that our vision gets blurred

It's never been spoken -
minds get bruised and broken

You see Only the lovers can know
when the love ceases to grow

Only the lovers can sense
when the past changes its tense

Only the lovers get hurt
