One

You've taught me that one and one can equal one

And that a whole can be better than two

Selectively unique is that no one can make me feel as

You do

Through me you found the will to see

That nothing in this universe should be

Controlled, conquered or won

That harmony is neither divisible by two nor one

Today with our hearts softly fused

To and by the beat of one drum

Under God's moon, which is also her son

Exist the you plus the me

The way things seemingly are and should always be
