Once upon a time

Once apon a time begins a love story true,
Boy meets girl
they start something new.
Shared music they listen
New poems they write
Do sit and they talk
through-out every night.
She shares all her fears
with him
He opens up too
To see them you'd smile,
A love fresh and new.

The honey moon period
ends-as it should
They set up a love nest
Routine starts off good.
She works
He sits
she fusses and cares
but he picks and he pesters
The fights start to flare.

Little by little her allies
do fade
No more has she anyone
Just him and his ways.
Where once she stood bold
with her smile so bright
She now bows her head
And cries every night.

Once upon a time begun a love story true
But her loves now replaced by
A monster so cruel.
No happily ever after,
No wish you were here,
just a lonely existance
carved out of fear.
