On Loving You

Your smile melted my defences into the sunset sky

Just the loving me stood in front of you hating every lie

The way you carried us through the years

And the way you tell me you love me, love truth bares.

In this summer sun you came.. past, slate clear stone would melt

I remember you, for us I knelt

And without a sigh without so much as a whisper

the door was about to open, right there.

Is it these palm trees that soak in the sun

this gravel that at night whispers in the candle light

Waves role into forever, our embrace, darkness our of sight
You soaked me into it all, that sunset rolling into the night.
