Of Today

Blue like the sky
I'm lost in the sea
Green like the grass
Lying beneath me
White like the clouds
Roaming the sky
Red like the kite
That flies up so high
Sweet to the ear, as the little bird sings
Dances with the wind, a tune that it brings
Gold like the rays of light that stream
Falling down from the sun, it seems
I smile and listen to the children play
I smile, I'm lost in the beauty of today
