No Longer

Love is like a rose plant
It grows from care of others
It radiates its beauty for all to see
Its leaves are wetted with tears
Its petals smell of joy
Its thrones pr*ck pain and draw blood
But people continue to admire it
Continue to care for it
Continue to help it grow
Love like a rose plant comes in many colors
White-purity
Red-passion
Yellow-adorable
Purple-loyalty
But like a rose plant love can die
It can wither and dry up
It can shrivel and fall
When people stop to care
When people forget
When people no longer love

My writing is a way for things to flow out of me that I didn't even know was within me. By sharing it with all the other poets out there I can rebuild my strength in myself. I can free my soul and let it soar in the stars. Let the wind rip me free of the being that carries my emotions. Poetry is my heart beat. more…
