Nightmare
In the darkness of everything
I have longed to forget
I find the shadows of the past,
fighting for the light.
Grim beings without heads
to reason,
fatal mistakes that destroyed
pieces of me.
With personified teeth
they rip me apart,
tearing my already bruised flesh
off the very bone.
In pain they are visible,
in joy they leave,
but always, forever they’re there
faded into the back.
Cry tears of crimson blood,
they come running,
set all your dark fears aside,
or suffer on the inside.
