Night fall

The moon rests upon a warm cloud

but his pale face does shiver

How the ghost of coldness makes

this lonely night quiver

Possessed only by deep darkness

is the throne of tonight sky

Stars, how they struggle to shine

Though they fail, they still try

The haunting memories come to mind

What kind of thoughts strike back?

When the atmosphere becomes

tiringly insomniac

This intense hour when the hammer

of your conscience pounds

It's maddening, isn't it?

that you alone hear the sounds

Sleepless eyes let the burden go

crying tears of bitter pain

Oh, dear clouds blanketing the moon

won't you as well rain?

Thus these torturing hours

eventually come to an end

Dawn peers through the clouds

as the sun tries to ascend
