In the middle of midwinter's Eve
The moon will hang as an iridescent smear on the black sky
Shadows will dance around us in joyous haunting
And I will bleed
I will bleed my love for you
A crimson stain on white satin
And the chill will claim my feet
Such a pretty violet lipstick
Funny, when I look into your eyes the trembling stops
And I am engulfed in a blissful numbness that paints my smile
Tears of happiness roll down my face as we lay in the white nothingness together
And when I close my eyes you are there to comfort me
In the everlasting winter embraced in our parody of dreams
