Morality

The valley of the spring
Has given up it's well,
The fruit that died
Has made the river swell,
The angry streams push
Through the canyon walls,
The tree that once gave life
Struggles as it falls,
A leaf, a life, a ray of hope
Is it enough to save,
A life, a love, a tree, a world
That refuses to deny all it gave
A cry for help, an urgency
To our own surprise
Shall we ignore what could save us
From our own demise!
