all she wants is to be redeemed by god
and for her soul to go somewhere when her body turns cold
dying past twenty seven is living old
next to a white lighter, she won't fight it

once upon a time she believed in love
and hope's still there throbbing underneath her skin
she just can't bear the thought of letting someone in
she has a fear of it, she won't hear of it

so she curls up tight at night, fighting for rest
tryna make the best of the sight of her life
in the mirror or on the applications
she desires a vacation from the nothingness
