May God Forgive My Youth

Tossing caution to the winds I lived on the edge.
Climbing to the summit ends I leaped off the ledge.
May God forgive my youth.

Flying blind in untried crafts I risked wind shear fling.
Plunging in whitewater rafts I chanced boulder cling.
May God forgive my youth

Wrestling vicious crocodiles I bet against odds.
Courting hazardous lifestyles I kept up facades.
May God forgive my youth.

Walking in landmine regions I faced sudden death.
Swimming in riptide legions I tarried my breath.
May God forgive my youth.

Trusting unheard of strangers I dared jeopardy.
Disregarding vast dangers I lived heartily.
May God forgive my youth.
