Matthew 11:30

Rest for the weary,
comfort for the needy,
I was, and am both.
Weary of self, needy for God,
hungry for the crumbs
that fall from above.
I open Your Word again-
to give to my blindness sight,
and let it sink into my mind.
Then I understand
how is Your yoke easy,
and Your burden light.
