Love is like Fire!
Love is like fire
At a distance it looks very beautiful,
But get too close, left unchecked or played with, it can burn you.
The scar it leaves may last forever.
Many are amaze by it and go to great lengths to obtain it,
Spell bound by the immediate warmth and light it brings,
feed it to insure it's maintenance and growth.
Some are blinded by it's light and are unable to see it's dark side.
After getting burnt, some try heatedly to smother it,
But feel lost once the cold reality of being with out it, sets in.
Some insecurely try to rekindle old flames,
Or immediately try to ignite a new one somewhere else.
When sparks flair,
Whether artificially created or naturally occurring,
It has the power to ignite desires.
However, without warning,
It can grow out of control,
And destroy all that it's brilliant light once helped create.
