Love a Lam

Love a Lam
(Dedicated to my dad)

When life goes wrong
You help me sing my song
to hear the voice of she,
the Lam that is always in you and me

Thank you, Daddy for making me laugh
and being my other half
in this hard and selfish life
and stay true to your stubborn wife

Because I love the two of you
for making me smile when I am blue.
Please remember I will always be here
Because I love you with so much care

Dont ever forget to let me go
and I will treat you like a friend not a foe
Because you are my father forever
and I will hate you never

Whenever life puts me down
you always know how to be my clown
to make be flip that frown
and wear my princess panda crown

I will always be grateful for all you have done
and treat you to a Chinatown bun
or a Quickly bubble tea drink
as we help each other when our lives are at the brink

Please let me know if there is anything I can do
or if you just want me to buy you honeydew
to enjoy the taste of yummy
as we both make sure will have a full tummy

And be thankful for the life we live
with all that we have to give.
I love you more than you think
and apologize when I stink.

Please put a smile on your face
and stay with my in this happy place
as we celebrate the life we are in
and avoid the evils of any sin.
