Lost

To a place far away,
Is where I have to stay.

Every morning I would awaken,
and knew I was taken,

from my bestest friend,
but our friendship would never end.

I got a call,
her life was starting to fall.

Why did I live so far?
How could I heal each scar,

that was causing so much harm.
It was imprinted on her arm.

I will help you heal,
just tell me how you feel.

I know it's not fair,
that I am not there.

But i'm here for you,
even though I'm hurting too.

Its hard on my heart,
that we are apart.

But we will see each other soon,
just look at the moon,

and know i will be thinking of you
and I know you will be too.

We've been together since were were two,
remember the activities we used to do?

We had so much fun,
but that does not mean the fun's not done.

Look at the memories we have together,
and more we shall make,
because we are best friends forever
