Living on a Pearch
Perched
I feel sometimes I'm on the edge
Of finding something new and
Then as quickly as it came it
Vanishes into the blue
Even though I calmly dredge
My mind it won't be sill
Dancing, prancing on the ledge
Another hole to fill
Am I here and is it now
I've come to understand
It matters not the time I spend
I'll get there if I can
The way in life I often see
Is full of joy and hope
But too much or too little rope
Can lead to heart felt misery
So in the end it's safe to say
And maybe there's no other way
To be alive in constant search
Is simply living on a perch
