Journey
Life is like a journey like a river flowing
From the mountain to the sea
A constant stream of time
Restricted by the banks of consciousness
As its pulled towards the quay
We were noble creatures born to adventure
To seek the journeys tale
But from long ago we lost our vision
No longer sought, nor searched
Life's fable
We forgot, you see, that we were born free
We damned the rivers edges
To trap the flow toward the sea
The rivers journey no longer stable
The flow of conscious thought now stagnant visions
Repeated by every second one of thee.
But then I remember that life is free
That the stream of time cannot be broken
No matter how hard we fight for thee
It will always break free
And flow towards the sea
