Invulnerable Heart

A heart of stone so gently cold

Never forgotten but neither told

Cries a man upon thus winters heart

With a decades time mere to pass

And a dove leading towards the stars

Upon this darkened sky of cherry blossoms

Leaving indents so grave near to scars

On this battered now broken pulse beater

Of a once rejoiced and mellow stone

Dreaming to drown within love

Containing the rhythms in his bone
