Insignificant Things

Insignificant things
 However small
 Can come alive
 Start to grow tall
They can start sucking life
 From your hopes and fears
If you agree to feed them
 They'll bring laughter and tears

A single passing thought
That today may not exist
Will one day make you chase
Everything you resist

 What is everything today
 Can become meaningless tomorrow
 The reason for most joy
 Can bring the sharpest sorrow

 A creation can sometimes
 Become stronger than the creator
 Turning him against himself
Making him the worst kind of traitor

 Eyes often get blinded
By the glitter caused by beholder
 Some delusions never die
Not even when you're wiser and older

Decision is always yours
Who you love, what you want
 But once it is made
 It can become all puissant
