Industrialized

(I had to repost it because It wouldn't publish all the way and I couldn't see any of my reviews.)

When will we stop?
When the flowers all bloom from metal stems?
When the trees are poles hosting leaves of gears
And bark of rust?

When will we stop?
When each blade of grass is covered in stone?
When the sky is painted black from
Toxic, smokey plumes?

When will we stop?
When the nature of all,
Including human kind has died?
And all that is left is our glossed, hidden eyes?

When will it stop?

We're industrialized.
