In The Temple
The hours magnify your Glory, sweet Jesus.
Each minute
another moment of complete love.
The seconds
are my heartbeats from your Sacred Heart.
My days
are awesome freedom;
awesome beauty --
visiting with You in this temple.
Many times I've wondered
at the pure Sacred power utilized,
molding this vessel.
In my heart of heart I've felt
everytime you've lifted it.
When the way was rough,
when this vessel was about to break.
I heard your Words, you spoke.
I felt your Love
patiently covering impurities of the alter,
with beautifully crafted bronze metal.
Now each hour is for your Glory.
Each minute, my need to walk with you.
Each second, a reflection;
a heart beating as One with You.
To be free from being alone.
To be free from the fear of death.
To be free to walk in humility.
To be free in giving love without fear.
No longer need I walk questioning my steps,
in the darkness.
For Jesus, You walk with me,
and there is Light in this temple.
