In The End

In a place where mediocrity becomes extraordinary,
where flowers blossom, lazy in the light mist,
where chaos is subdued and creativity reigns,
where the sky is orange, scarlet and yellow, purple and blue,
I am home, home with you.

In a time when nothing is fallacy,
when everything is a plethora of luxury,
when mysteries are all to worry about,
when tragedies and travesties are few,
I’ll be home, home with you.

In a land where music fills the air,
where sound is an elixir for your waiting ear,
where notes float by like dragonflies,
where rhythm, cadence and beats are new,
I am home, home with you.

In the midst of a starry night,
when even the dark moon shines like a sun,
when the planets show in the sky,
when the wide expanse above watches all we do,
I’ll be home, home with you.

In a place where biases go out the window,
where there’s no need for locks and keys,
where no blood spills, no tears fall,
after jealousy and envy are through,
I am home, home with you.
