In a perfect world

In a perfect world there would be no darkness to overshadow the light.
The stars would shine through the sky every night.
There would be a positive ending to every story of despair.
People would be happy and forever smiling from ear to ear.
Love would overcome unfaithfulness, and spread throughout the town.
Hate wouldn't exist, and the lord would send us now,
To a place where there is no need for medication and suicide to take away the pain.
Somewhere joyous where music explodes through the clouds instead of heavy rain.
Where sins are forgiven and no one is to blame, and
all of our problems dissappear so there is no more sorrow or shame.
