I'll be Dead Before They Hurt Me Again

How have i survived
After being beaten like a rag doll
For the past few years
My voices just need to stop
I refuse to pick that gun up
Cant you see that i am happy
Cause i'll be dead before they hurt me again
So as you think of all the times i've died a little more inside
Just remember that we all have scars
The things that never  heal
Some things just cant be washed away
So kill me for my past
And always remember that your just like me
The clock ticks down the second
Punches are thrown
I'm pushed around
And still i smile
They're all monsters
Just as i am
I'm superior to no one
They can all abuse me as much as they want
Because nobody cares about how much blood is shed
We are all de-sensitized

I'm a poet that writes solely on what i feel at the time i write. If i feel lonely,i write a poem about lonliness and add a story behind that,if im angry then my gorey little mind will just take over and write what it feels, hope whoever reads enjoys. Many of my poems come from a little bit of inspiration,Edgar Allan Poe gives me new ideas with every poem i read and i try to use a little bit of his style while keeping it all my own. more…
