I Should Have Looked Back

I thought of looking back again as my
                   heart was breaking for her...
I said I'd never be back as I turned and
made my way towards the door.
Low of voice i heard her sorrow, go now,
come back no more ...I kept walking through
the storm ...all noise being drowned out by
                                            the howling wind.

Never did I hear her calling me as the sound
of my own heartbreak made the wind silent
a crack of lightning stopped me and I turned
around ...Seeing each others tears stopped
two hearts aching, I'll hold her in my arms til
I am no more, even then she said ...I'll join you.
