Human Race
Sometimes life is so unfair, people who want children cannot bare
While others can and just don't care
Some couples want so badly to have a child
Someone else is crying over their baby who's just died
Sometimes it makes me so angry to see the news
To hear about all the child abuse
Some parents have children whom they neglect
When they're supposed to be there to protect
Others will kill for just a thrill
Some will sell their babies for a bit of cash
While others don't give it a second thought and throw them in the trash
Children's bodies covered in bruises and welts
From all the lashes they receive from the tip of their parents belt
Some parents play with their children's mind
Not knowing all the scars it will leave behind
Other parents don't have the time
And their children end up in a life of crime
These parents should be put away, locked up in jail with no bail
Throw away the key, they must pay for what they did to an innocent baby
Sometimes I feel disgraced, to be a part of this thing called the "Human Race"
