Her Look



She looked at me, I couldn’t see past her eyes, how could it be that the skies could hold such glee, my mind captivated by the freedom found, her look put a hook in me, bound me to herself, tied my hands and my heart, no fetter could be better, prisoners never knew such liberty,
she looked me, said some sweet saying, I saw her lips move but heard no words, I was lost in her eyes, couldn’t find my way out, didn’t want to, true in the ray of beauty my only life long wish, her look stole my heart, her look stole my soul, I was hers for then and evermore.
