Her Halloween

Fair is your being in rose scent
Although perspective is tainted
A best friend is wasted
At their expense and vanity's gain
Unto some existence I omit
Wallow in self-pity
In proclaiming your faults
Shed tears in your apologies
Coniving witch in black-- dark features
Felines lie in heat where your circle mends
And you swallow your dismay
Like a hayday in the field
The scare crow at your back door
Scares them to a chase
In due time you are alone
So you want to bash your pumpkin head
Yet somehow you still defend what you do
Like holiday fun planned by you
Demented and sad
Tricking and treating
