Grandmother

You are always in my heart.
You are always in my mind.
Your soul is part of mine.
Why you have to die?
I sit here by your bedside.
I sit here and I cry.
I sit here and I wonder,
Why you have to die?
I pray to God everyday.
Sometimes I don't know why.
I pray to God and ask him,
Why you have to die?
Everyone tells me to let you go.
Their wish is my command.
I still don't understand,
Why you have to die?
I remember when you watched me.
Now I am watching you.
I sit here and I wonder,
Why you have to die?
