Friends

Friends are among the greatest gifts on this great earth,
And you can't put a price upon their worth,
For they are priceless, worth more than anything that money can buy,
Worth more than all the stars in the never ending sky.

Friends stick together, through the good times and bad,
They are up when you're happy and down when you're sad,
They will push you to the limits, when they know you can do better,
Or lift up your spirits with a nice friendly letter.

If you get into trouble, they will back you, like a mighty oak,
And comfort you in anyway possible, be it kind words or a joke,
They will pull you from the depths of self destruction and despair,
If, for, God forbid, you ever find yourself there.

Yes, friends are among the greatest gifts on this great earth,
And you can't put a price upon their worth,
Now, I'm not rich with money but I really feel blessed,
For I have more friends than I could ever have guessed!
