Freedom

Yes we fight all the time, see no reason take no rhyme
I couldn't find my way with you
Now you're changing your mind just like Jekyll & Hyde
Your language hides away from truth

Throw my clothes into the dirt where my whole life seems to lurk
A fiction you believe to be true
Oh my rage is red alert, while my body starts to hurt
This may be the end of me

/

I sat in the mud and I cried in the rain
And then I heard my heart begin to say

It's Freedom, sweet Freedom
Show me a sign, take me down
I'm on another one
It's Freedom, sweet Freedom
Show me a sign, take me down
I'm on another one

/

Now I'm lying on a bench, life could not of made more sense
Normality in the past tense
While the banks they rob me blind, all their money spreading lies
I don't know who's side I'm on

Board the windows, board the doors, take your mind out to the porch
Electric eyes are watching you
Now they're here, now they're here, occupy yourself with fear
You freeze right to the bone

/

I stood in chains and I looked to the floor
Then I decided my brain just wanted it more

It's Freedom, sweet Freedom
Show me a sign, take me down
I'm on another one
It's Freedom, sweet Freedom
Show me a sign, take me down
 I'm on another one

/

Reality, eternity, the present is the place to be
It seems now it all I've got
Change my methods, change my ways, it seems my life was one big cage
What I'd known, just what I'd been taught

Now you see that you're free, you can gleefully believe
There are no fleeting thoughts you see
And for the people you despise, you can discard all their lies
Pursuit for image is a treacherous sea

/

I went to the Edge and I looked to the Void
Then I felt my soul feel overjoyed

It's Freedom, sweet Freedom
Show me a sign, take me down
I'm on another one
It's Freedom, sweet Freedom
Show me a sign, take me down
I'm on another one
