Expectations

Little food prints under the window sill
Small children hearts with wishes to fill
Ice flowers at the window pane grow
Houses and gardens covered with snow
Through the windows dwarfs spying
Parents Christmas presents buying
Christmas Eve comes really near
Who has being very good this year?
The dwarfs will tell it Santa Claus soon
They watch the kid even under the moon
The reindeer sled is getting ready
Is loaded with sweets, toys and teddy
The smell of ginger bread is lying in the air
And children choose what they could wear
At Christmas day under candle light
Presents placed, faces shine in delight.
