End of the night
I'm the spy,
I break your window with a brick I found outside,
I step into your living room.
I inspect the scene eagerly
I search through your possessions,
Seeing which wants I can keep,
To sell to the scrap heap
End of the night,
End of the night.
I know your name
But you don't know mine,
I have single handily ruined your dreams,
I have put a hammer through your TV screen.
End of the night,
End of the night.
I'll make myself at home,
As a sip your homemade tea
End of the night,
End of the night.
I want to hear you wake up.
Hear you scream
The glass on the floor
And the lost jewellery,
Coupled with carnage
And smashed memories
End of the night,
End of the night.
I'm sinister
Yet my intentions are right
End of the night,
End of the night.
I gave drugs to the kings of innocence
Now they are in the gutter coughing up blood.
End of the night,
End of the night.
I see the posh lot in the houses of privilege,
Their doors are shut but I can slither in
Spit on their wealth
And tear up the walls.
End of the night,
End of the night.
I fed your children on
All my lies,
They think they are swimming in the seas of divine...
End of the night,
End of the night.
Take a bath in ecstasy,
You've been robbed of your wedding ring,
Do you want it back?
I have it on a hook
By my door.
End of the night,
End of the night.
I thought you wanted to be a good guy?
Follow the lord and his sweet advice.
Yet, you own a big car
And a plastic wife.
You can't serve both God and money,
End of the night,
End of the night.
You shut her away when the kids come home
If they found out sh*t would go down the pan.
End of the night,
End of the night.
Blood will be spilt
At the end of time
End of the night,
End of the night.
