Dying From Insanity

Staring blankly at the wall, not caring; don't know where I am.
My head clouded with thoughts, my restless mind in mayhem
I'm sitting in empty space, but I feel surrounded, like I'm going to drown…I'm going down.
In these illusions around me... I could have been saved, if only someone had found me.
But no one came. I was left to pass, in this room out of distance from the world.
My heart beat fast, then progressively slowed, but my thoughts kept on going. If only I could have lasted
Maybe I could have had a chance, but once I was far too gone..  My chances of surviving were none.
Goodbye.
I will forever be remembered as the girl no one could find…in time.
And the girl that lost her mind, as she drifted away and faded from life.
