Disaster Strikes the Innocent
On Tuesday September 11th, 2001, unknown terrorist hijacked and crashed planes straight into New York's Twin Towers
These terrorists are people with no backbone, who are trying to steal America's strength and all its powers
I believe the United States of America to be a strong nation and the people will not lie down quietly and allow defeat
They will fight back with full force and once again stand proudly on their feet
The other target that too was destroyed by a stolen plane was Washington's Pentagon
As many as 6000 lives of family and friends were lost on these planes and in these buildings, but their spirit and sacrifice will forever live on
Disaster Strikes the Innocent, the Reds, Whites, Blacks and Yellows
Its hate didn't have a favorite color; it wanted all who lived freely as american fellows
Although, sadness and tears spread like wildfire throughout each country
So did the faith and generosity of people, each came forward and stood as tall as the Statue of Liberty
Destruction does not only tear things down but can make them stronger when built into new
America will build again, while waving their flag and their proud colors of Red, White and Blue
So God please Bless America, and save the people and the land of the free
And with love and kindness from each other, America will again no doubt, shine ever so brightly
This poem is dedicated to all who have lost family and friends, May God Bless you all
