Death

In the shadows of life
Death creeps unseen
Stalking the careless
And the unsuspecting
Preying on those
Living for the moment
In the blink of an eye
He steals their life force.
I've seen his face
And he knows mine too
The face lurking
in the shadows of the moon
The grim-reaper
The bearer of pain
I know his face
He knows my name.
