Cuddling Wall

From the silence of the night
could hear her sobs of misery
the yearning to ones home;
beyond the things she hold dearly
one couldn't bear to take or see
neither the wall could light.

The doleful eyes says her sorrow
if only the wall could talk-
he will unravel the heartaches
written and saved in her diary
titled: The Unending Ordeal
hopeless and no tomorrow!

This poor soul runs to the wall
the escape of pain she prays;
a little courage she wished
if the god of mercy listens
"have pity please", she begs!
before strikes, a final fall.
