Crystals

Pale, wornout
and weary,
I stagnated at
a stage
to retrospect
the gains
and the losses
The good
and the worst
Accomplishments
and the despairs
Committments
and the pitfalls.

The transition from
the cheerish
Childhood to
the Carefree
Youthhood to
the worried
middle age
was never
a red carpet
walk

Small moments
of adversities
taught the
lessons do
big which were
so hard.

The memories of
past still
haunt me
of the things
which slipped
out of hands
even none
was my fault

Seen slipping
hands from my hands
seen breaths
fading away in
my lap
Seen broken
ties of bonds
sworn for
seven births
to come

Seen all
Seen much
Now, O my fate,
Tell me how much longer

How much longer
I have to
Wait
to see someone
to come
to unbreak my heart....

Hopes are the
Crystal balls
Not to be tossed
in air
for if they slip
are for sure
so brittle
if the earth
they touch
may scatter into
thousand tiny parts
like the broken hearts....................
