Leah Pinkney

Cortez, Cortez,
Was the lucky man
Who came upon Indian land.
They worshipped him,
He wondered why,
They said: "You're the God
That came from the sky!"

The 52 time period
Has been so long,
We've been waiting for you
From dusk until dawn.
Cortez then tricked the Aztecs
And used them in vain
To claim that land
In the name of Spain!
