Complexity

You exist in me
Progressively defining
My very being

Loving and sacrificing
Trusting and maturing
Into a beautiful flower
And offered your body
This very hour
This moment in time
Where I can call you mine

And any line you say
I am willing to believe
Whether it is the truth or a scheme
Your veins and your voice
Your opinion and your choice
Is a judgement waiting to happen
I am in trial without a napkin
To wipe my tears
Or wipe my fears

I am facing YOU
As I am
A little lamb
Spare me and do not slaughter
I am someone's daughter
I love like no other
I am imperfect, I admitt
Sins I have comitt
Lives I have torment
Promises I have broken

Yes, but please adore me
Realize that real eyes cry... too
Understand the depth
That is within you
Understand I am molding
Sculpting
Shaping
Transforming
Deforming
My existence for you
To make your life better
Which pleases me

But when you're unhappy
I feel sorry
And lonely
How could this be
Who created me?
Who created this feeling
Of pursuing
A pleasure
A treasure....
This measure is too vast
This relationship will not last
This moment I will lose
But I choose
To be with you.

Lanelle Taylor

My name is Lanelle Taylor , I love to write. Usually because I'm a peacemaker outside of writing and do not express myself much especially if I think that it wouldn't make the situation any better, so I would write to escape. I apologize if my poetry is long, repetitive, or doesn't make any sense what so ever. It's more emotional than factual. ♥ Thank you for taking time out of your life to read and criticize. I try my best to say thank you to all the comments. Love all you poets out there, keep up the good work.Live . Love . Laugh . more…
