Communal Harmony

There are often fights in different countries on religious inequalities, the poem written below shows the communal picture of one such country- INDIA !!!!

  A Hindu doesn't sob, neither does a Christian,

Neither a Sikh is seen crying, nor a Mom don

It is the wailing of a human,

That melts down the heart of someone!

A secular nation may we be

And here, there may be religious equality!

But what about the riots which often break,

And terrorize the countryside with the fake

Claims of religious beliefs along with disputes,

Making the strength and integrity of the state irresolute.

The result of which are showers of blood, gestures of pain,

Lamenting creatures and all this is in vain!

Fight for your religion but what will it give?

Fight for humanity, in harmony you live!

Spread edification and awareness and show the world you can,

Save humankind, save your clan!

I believe it's not too late for peace and amity,

So lift up the white flag of communal harmony!
