cast away

all your promises went hollow,
as you threw me to the ground
walking away, your footsteps made no sound
silence replaced mewith an emptiness inside,
a loud screeching sound within is what was found

what good is a hollow promise?
trauma's, lies, compromise, demise
that is left to swallow when you follow dark or light,
a choice will make it's YOU you fight
until all clear wisdom deceives your sight

no promise, no trust, don't discriminate
happiness and wisdom lies in those who seek similarity
those who choose this path will see the clarity
when a puzzle has small pieces of quantity
it gets harder to see the picture and irregularity
from a distance the pieces seem bigger
a smaller quantity of problems seems to be the trigger!
suddenly my faith grows, with the silence it beholds
and the life you cast away my dear, finally it beautifully unfolds
