Burn
Happily ever after
Til ever after collapses
The flame of a love that's everlasting
And illuminates like a million candles
So when the world has gone to shambles
And defining is hard to handle
Our hearts light up the darkest places
A hope for reigniting the scandal
A work of art that I could never mold
But now privileged, I lay hold to
And cling forever to her side
My peace abides by coming home to you
And while it's true...
Others treat commitment
Like the change of seasonal weather
I'm willing to weather any storm
So that we can be together
Whether hell or high water
Sticks and stones, bricks and mortar
I'm driven by a higher calling
A love that can never be torn asunder
A spectacle of wonderment
So untamed and unearned
The stuff of legend among the nations...
Come.
Arise.
And Burn.
