Armour Of God

Lord, gird my Loins about with Truth,
so I can understand how to teach the youth.
Grant me also the Breastplate of Righteousness,
so I can walk forever in your Holiness.

O let my Feet walk in the Preparation of the Gospel of Peace,
so that I can show love, to the man of prejudice.
The Shield of Faith please give to me,
to quench the fiery darts of Satan, the father of iniquity.

Rest upon me the Helmet of Salvation,
so I can obtain Grace, forgiveness and Redemption.
Show unto me the mysteries of your word,
Knowledge, Wisdom, and Understanding, a True Spiritual Sword.

Dear Lord, I give unto you, my Prayers and Supplications,
from the depths of my heart, I give thanks for creation.
Guide me safely, in the name of Jesus Christ,
and grant me your Holy Spirit and Everlasting Life.
