A Song For The Dearly Departed

when the days are darkest
that's when you know it's august
for failure is hardest
for the dearly departed

the winds of fate are getting colder
summer is almost over
took the time to know her
that's when she told me she wants to get sober

look me in the eye, baby
she smiled and said maybe
burning in hell with hades
oh baby, won't you come down and save me

looking through the diaries of gemini's
looking for a paradise for you and i
i don't even need an alibi
cause i'm slowly sinking in a suicide
